  • Allyson Felix of L.A. Baptist High School broke the American Junior and High School Record for 200m with a winning effort of 22.51 in the invitational 200m. She beat a field which included Inger Miller, Angela Williams and '02 NCAA champ Natasha Mayers. Her time bested the previous mark of 22.58 set by Marion Jones in 1992.
  • Maurice Greene ran the 200m for the first time since the 2000 U.S. Olympic Trials and won in convincing fashion with a time of 20.16.
  • Kamel Thompson of Jamaica missed the meet record in the 400H by just .03 with his winning time of 48.52. The record holder, Chris Rawlingson (48.49 in 2002), finished second in 49.01.
  • Kelli White set a PR while winning the 100m in 10.97.
  • Kenta Bell won his second consecutive triple jump title, bounding 56' 9-1/2"
  • Russ Buller skied 18' 10-1/4" to win the pole vault.
