226-11. Mac topped a great field, as 15 throwers broke 185 feet. Later
this year, Mac went on to win the gold medal at the Montreal Olympics

Brown won his sixth consecutive high jump title, clearing 7-3. This
was the best mark he recorded among this six victories

was a triple winner, sprinting to victories in the 100m (11.7), 200m
(23.8) and 400m (52.9)

Brill became the first Relays' champion to clear 6 feet in the high
jump, scaling 6-2 3/4
- Kate
Schmidt became the first javelin thrower to top 200 feet in Relays
competition, while winning her fourth consecutive Relays' title in 211-6
