- Bob Schul won the
steeplechase in 9:14.7
- Dennis Johnson
ran a windy 9.2w in the 100y dash
- USC relay teams
won the 880 relay (1:23.6) and established a new Collegiate Record in
the mile relay (3:07.6). Rex Cawley
ran 20.5 on the third leg of the 880 relay, and 45.4 for the anchor
leg of the mile relay team. Cawley also ran 50.6 to win the 400H
